Women’s Ministries you can be involved in!

Barnabeths – To encourage one another with cards, calls, or visits (Heb. 3:13)

Bulletin Boards – Keep the four bulletin boards in the foyer neat, updated with the latest information and changing with the seasons.

Dorcas Circle – To get together and make items for the Chimala Hospital, Azle Manor, and shut-ins.

Food Pantry – Help serve the needs of the people in our community.

Golden Girls Tea – A special time to honor our ladies 65 years and older.

Greeters – Greeting visitors and providing information regarding classes and location as well as handing out the bulletin.

Helping Hands – To allow women who are willing to visit shut-ins and make calls to people who are declining in health and unable to accomplish the activities of daily living.

Make, Bake, and Take – Making cookies, muffins, make sandwiches, cheesballs, dip, or treats to take to the fireman, policeman, paramedics, etc. The aim is to serve our community.

Martha’s Kitchen – Participants will take meals to members who are unable to prepare food due to an illness or surgery.

Secret Prayer Sisters – Opportunity to encourage and pray for one another.

Showers – A group of women who will rotate helping host a wedding and/or baby shower.

Soul Sisters – To provide an opportunity to serve which will encourage young women to persevere in their faith while ministering to the older women of the church.

WINGS (Women In God’s Service) – A Bible study once a month in the home of on of the ladies in the group.

Young Girls and Moms Retreat – Proverbs 31 Retreat – This is a once a year retreat with our young girls (5th grade and up) to teach them how life will be, in an encouraging but realistic life lesson

Youth Bulletin Board – Maintain and update with events and activities involving the youth of our congregation.
