We are happy you stopped by to visit our website. Our desire is that you are able to learn more about our congregation.
We had planned to be in our newly renovated auditorium this week, but a sprinkler malfunction has caused water damage to a large part of the building, including the auditorium and foyer. A group of hardy men assembled last night and removed most of the pooled water and a restoration company will arrive tomorrow to begin drying the building. It is not likely to be complete by the weekend.
Due to the need for social distancing because of the Corona virus, we are holding two services inside our fellowship hall, the first at 8:30 A.M, , and the second at 10:30 A.M. We are recording and posting these services on the church’s webpage and the church’s Facebook page by 11 A.M. We also post a series of short lessons called, “Ten in the Den,” Mon-Fri each week at 9:30 on Facebook. The buttons above will take you to the proper video.
A Sunday evening class from Genesis is being held on ZOOM at 6P.M. For those that wish to join us the first time this week, you will need to download the ‘ZOOM’ app from your supplier, or simply Google ‘Zoom’ from your browser and download from there. You will not have to sign up to participate, but simply ‘Join’ a meeting. You will be asked for a meeting ID and password is posted in the bulletin each week.
The following announcement was posted earlier and is left for your consideration. We look forward to the time when these difficult times are behind us and encourage you to keep your spiritual life growing while we so eagerly anticipate the reunion in person.
To our Azle Family,
We urge you and your family to participate with us in the worship service each Sunday morning and we encourage you to keep up your purposed contributions as the church has obligations to our staff, missionaries and homes that we support. You may drop off your contribution at the building or mail a check to the church at: PO Box 226, Azle, TX 76098. We do not recommend mailing cash. We are investigating means to directly contribute through direct draft.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact your elders or Cub.
Listed below are just a few of the many ways to get involved once this virus issue has been resolved. We want to encourage you to check them out!
